Agata Kosmala
Born in 1973 in Gorzow Wielkopolski, Poland. Graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, she received her diploma in 2000. She studied in the studios of Prof. Golkowska and Prof. Blazejewski. The artist's works are in many private collections, at home and abroad. Agata Kosmala's work is largely based on instinct, painterly gesture and emotion. Probably that is why in these paintings one can sense an unusual lightness, immateriality and elegance at the same time. The Wroclaw painter rarely uses lines. What characterizes her painting is the sweeping, emotionally charged color stain, which plays the most important role in her work.
